The annual ESLSCA University Executive Education Summit brought together leaders, industry experts, instructors and students to explore the intersection of education and corporate life, at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski hotel in Cairo on Nov. 23 and 24.

“This event is all about networking and hands-on learning. Especially for students to get the knowledge they need and know what it takes to work at one of these top companies in the near future,” said Karim ElHennawi, CEO of ESLSCA University.

The summit featured numerous workshops led by industry experts. “Managing Polarities” was discussed by Dr. Frederick Holscher and Dr. Sharon Olivier, associate professor and professor of practice in leadership at Hunt Ashbridge Executive Education, respectively.

Some of the workshops conducted by ESLSCA University instructors included “Digital Marketing Using AI” with Dr. Mohamed Yousry and “Building Resilience and Adapting to Change” with Dr. Nermeen Sharaf.

“The summit offers a new perspective on the market and industries, presenting opportunities to generate new ideas and insights that can be applied across various fields,” said Hassan Hegazi, Group Talent Manager at Abudawood Group.

A lineup of esteemed speakers took the stage, including Ayman Amer, CEO of SODIC; Hadeer Shalaby, Managing Director of Talabat Egypt; Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Galal, Chairman of EBank; and HE. Dr. Hala H. Elsaid, Economic Advisor to H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Additionally, many partnerships were formed between ESLSCA and major companies such as PepsiCo Egypt, Contact, Lafarge Egypt, and Nestlé. These collaborations enhance professional and educational outcomes as well as provide opportunities for students and graduates.

“The summit helps us create new partnerships to provide internships for students and helps us tailor our curriculum to better meet industry needs. Even a role like ushers gives them exposure to corporate environments,” said Rasha Elkholy, Academic Director of BBA at ESLSCA.

The annual ESLSCA Executive Education Summit has proven to be an essential event for those aiming to stay informed about the latest trends in education and industry. The summit also allowed students to engage with professionals and explore future career opportunities.

Reflecting on the success of this year’s summit, participants expressed enthusiasm for the insights gained and connections made. Many attendees reported that the discussions sparked new ideas and approaches to bridge academic knowledge with practical industry applications.

“These discussions allow people from different fields to share insights on various topics, and this gives us, as instructors, new ideas and perspectives to curate better educational courses,” said Dalia Eissa, Manager of Student Life and Management Instructor at ESLSCA University.
