Transforming Education with AI-Powered Innovation
In a world where technology is changing everything, Hala Sedki is making waves in education. As the founder of GPTuBE, an AI-driven interactive educational assistant, she’s creating new ways for students and lifelong learners to access and engage with knowledge globally.
GPTube was originally founded founded by ESLSCA University’s School of Computing alumni and graduates of the Ex3 Incubator, Hala Sedki, Ali Mohamed, Tony Begemy, and Ahmed Galal.
The idea for GPTuBE came to life during Sedki’s time at ESLSCA University as part of the Ex3 Incubator Program. This program encourages third-year students to develop innovative startups that solve real-world problems. For Sedki, the challenge was an opportunity to turn her passion for education into a meaningful project.
“With GPTuBE, I wanted to bridge the gap between theory and practice,” Sedki explained. “I envisioned an AI assistant that adapts to each learner’s needs, making education more accessible and personalized.”
What started as a university project quickly grew into something much bigger. Powered by advanced AI, GPTuBE helps users understand complex topics through interactive lessons, personalized feedback, and adaptive tools. It’s designed for learners at all levels, making it a game-changer in the world of education.
The innovative approach didn’t go unnoticed. Competing in the Global EdTech Startup Awards (GES Awards) for Africa and the Middle East, GPTuBE earned third place, standing out among the region’s most creative solutions.
“Winning third place was surreal,” Sedki shared. “It was a moment of validation for all the hard work and sleepless nights. More importantly, it highlighted the need for tools that truly support diverse educational needs.”
While the recognition opened doors for partnerships and growth, the journey wasn’t without its challenges. From building trust with stakeholders to perfecting the AI technology, every step required resilience.
“In EdTech, earning credibility is everything,” Sedki said. “As a young entrepreneur, I had to prove that GPTuBE could deliver real value. It wasn’t easy, but the support I received through ESLSCA and the Ex3 Program made all the difference.”
Sedki’s story is one of determination and creativity. She hopes to inspire other young entrepreneurs to follow their passions and tackle challenges head-on.
“My advice is to believe in your vision and take that first step, even if it’s small,” she said. “Every great idea starts somewhere. With hard work and the right support, you can achieve incredible things.”
Looking ahead, Sedki plans to expand GPTuBE and continue making education more engaging and inclusive.
“Education is the foundation of progress,” she said. “Through GPTuBE, I want to empower learners worldwide and show how technology can create opportunities for everyone.”
Hala Sedki’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and innovation. With GPTuBE, she’s not only transforming education but also inspiring the next generation to dream big and make a difference.
